For trades and contractors

Websites for contractors and trades on Vancouver Island

Most of our portfolio is trades: HVAC and plumbing, drywall, renovation, construction and mobile dent repair. We build contractor websites that bring calls and quote requests from the towns you actually want to work in, and that open fast on a phone in a truck.

What a trades website has to handle

People looking for a contractor are usually in one of two situations. Either something is broken right now, a furnace out in January or a leak under the sink, and they will call the first business that answers. Or they are planning a renovation and comparing three or four companies over a few weeks. A good contractor site serves both without making either one wait.

That means the emergency caller sees a phone number that dials on tap, at the top of every page, and a clear line about whether you take urgent calls. The planner gets photos of real jobs, a sense of price, and a quote form that lets them attach pictures of the space so you can give a rough number before driving out.

It also means speed. Your customers and your crew open the site on a phone, often on a weak signal outside town. Our sites are hand-coded and served from a global CDN, so they load quickly where a heavy builder theme stalls.

What we build into a contractor site

Tap-to-call everywhere

The number is in the header on every page and dials on tap. On phones, a call button stays within thumb reach.

Emergency vs scheduled routing

Urgent jobs go straight to a phone call; planned work goes to a quote form. Each visitor gets the path that fits their problem.

A page per service

Furnace repair, heat pumps, water heaters, drywall finishing, basement renovations: each gets its own page, so Google can match it to the search.

A page per town

Pages for the towns you serve, from Nanaimo and Lantzville to Parksville, Courtenay and Duncan, with jobs you did there.

Photos of real jobs

Your own before and after photos, compressed so they load fast. Stock photos of smiling models do not win trades work.

Quote forms with photo upload

Customers attach pictures of the job from their phone, so you can price it or ask the right questions before the site visit.

Reviews where they help

Your Google reviews linked from the pages people read before calling, plus a short link to ask happy customers for one.

“Did a fantastic job on my business website, great communication and a little back and forth we dialed the website in to perfection! He even customized my logo a bit more which made it better than my first iteration.”

How we work with contractors

  1. A call that fits your day

We know you are on site. A short call in the evening or a voice message works; we take it from there.

  2. Map services and towns

We list the jobs you want more of and where you want to do them. That becomes the page plan.

  3. Gather photos

Send job photos from your phone as they are. We sort, crop and compress them.

  4. Build and launch

Most trades sites go live 1 to 3 weeks after the content arrives, with Google tools set up.

  5. Keep climbing

Optional monthly local SEO adds pages and reviews over time. P3 Mechanical & Electrical in Nanaimo is on this plan.

Every contractor site launches with

  • Click-to-call number in the header of every page
  • Quote form with photo upload
  • A page for each main service
  • Town pages for your service area
  • LocalBusiness schema linked to your Google Business Profile
  • Google Analytics and Search Console
  • Everything in your name: domain, code, accounts

Trades we know

We have built sites for HVAC and plumbing, electrical, drywall and carpentry, home renovation, construction and mobile dent repair, and the same structure works for framing, roofing and landscaping. Have a look at the P3 Mechanical & Electrical case study, the PGC Drywall site and the UPGREAT Home Renovations project.

Ranking in Maps is a separate, ongoing job from the website itself. Our page on local SEO explains what we do each month, and if your current site is on Wix or WordPress, a website redesign keeps the rankings you already have. Contractors in Oceanside can read about web design in Parksville and Qualicum Beach.

Questions people ask

How much does a website for a contractor cost?
A one-page site for a solo trade is CAD $790, a small site is CAD $970 to $2,000, and a business site with service and town pages is CAD $2,500 to $4,500. Every quote is fixed and in writing before work starts.
What pages should a contractor website have?
At minimum: a home page with tap-to-call, one page per main service, one page per town you want work from, a gallery of real jobs, reviews and a quote form. Separate service and town pages are what let Google show you for searches like furnace repair in Nanaimo.
Can customers send photos with a quote request?
Yes. Our quote forms accept photos straight from a phone camera. You see the job before you call back, which saves wasted site visits.
How do I get more calls from Google Maps as a contractor?
Complete your Google Business Profile with the right categories and service area, ask every happy customer for a review, and link the profile to a site with a page for each service and town. Our monthly local SEO plan does this work from CAD $150 a month, without promising a ranking nobody can guarantee.
Do you work with contractors outside Nanaimo?
Yes. We work with trades across Vancouver Island, including Ladysmith, Duncan, Parksville, Qualicum Beach, Courtenay, Comox and Victoria. Most of the work happens by phone and email, with a visit when it helps.
