Oceanside, Vancouver Island
Summer brings visitors searching from the ferry, the campground and the beach. The rest of the year brings locals comparing trades, clinics and services. We build sites that handle both, from our base in Nanaimo, about half an hour down Highway 19.
Businesses along the Oceanside coast serve two very different groups. From late spring to early fall, visitors look for places to eat, stay, rent a kayak or book a tour, usually on a phone and often before they arrive. The rest of the year, the customer is a local homeowner looking for a roofer, a landscaper, a dentist or a bookkeeper.
A good site for this area answers both. Seasonal hours that are right in July and in January, an enquiry form that works on a phone at the beach, and pages for year-round services that can rank for searches like “landscaper Qualicum Beach”. Our Hosting & Care plan covers those seasonal changes for CAD $129 a month: you send the new menu or the winter closing dates, and we put them up.

A schedule, a price, a booking button and a cancellation policy, all readable on a phone with weak signal. Online booking is an add-on from CAD $350.
A menu written as text rather than a blurry PDF, hours that match Google, and a map pin that puts people at the right door.
Service pages that name Parksville, Qualicum Beach, French Creek and Errington, a gallery of local jobs, and a quote form that asks for photos.
Qualicum Beach in particular has many retirees. Clinics, practitioners and advisors do well with larger text, a phone number in plain sight and no pop-ups.
“Konstantin is a professional in his field, very high-quality work, support at all stages, quick website creation, responsible approach, price.”
Many Oceanside customers find you long before they arrive. Someone planning a week at the beach searches from home on the mainland, compares three places, and books the one whose site made it easy. That search is not “near me”. It names the town, so your pages need to say Parksville or Qualicum Beach in the title, the heading and the copy, the way people type it. Our local SEO service covers that structure and the Google Business Profile behind it.
If you also sell things people want to take home (preserves, art, gear, gift cards), an e-commerce website from CAD $4,500 keeps sales coming in the quiet months when walk-in traffic drops.
One of our clients, Athecon Projects, has framed townhomes on Hirst Road in Parksville, and their project gallery shows how a contractor can present local jobs town by town.
We are in Nanaimo, about 30 minutes south of Parksville. Most projects run by phone, email and video, and when it helps to see the shop, the rental or the product, we drive up. The price is the same as at home: CAD $790 for a one-page site, CAD $970 to $2,000 for a Starter site, CAD $2,500 to $4,500 for a Business site. More on how we work with clients close by is on web design in Nanaimo, and further north on web design in Courtenay and Comox.
The studio is based in Nanaimo and works with businesses across Parksville and Qualicum Beach and the communities around it. Find us on the map, read the reviews and request a quote.
