Why a site needs looking after
A website is not finished at launch. Prices change, a new service starts, a staff photo goes out of date, and the domain renewal email lands in a folder nobody checks. Most site problems we see are small things nobody had time for, until a customer calls the old number.
Our sites are hand-coded and hosted on Vercel's global CDN, so there is no WordPress to patch and no plugin list to keep current. That makes care simpler and cheaper than on a typical builder or WordPress site. Still, someone has to watch it, renew it and change it. These plans are that someone.

Backups matter more than people expect. If a change goes wrong or a page is deleted by mistake, a daily backup means we put yesterday's version back instead of rebuilding it. Uptime monitoring means we usually know the site is down before your customers do, and handled renewals mean your domain never lapses because a card on file expired.

Cancelling, and what happens next
You can cancel either plan with 30 days notice. We do not hold your site or domain hostage: you get the code, the domain stays in your name, and we help move hosting to your own account or to another provider.
The plans cover sites we built. If you have an older site elsewhere, start with a website redesign or a free website check. A care plan also pairs well with local SEO, since new town and service pages are part of keeping a local site useful. All plans and one-time prices are listed on the pricing page.

How much does website hosting cost?
Our Hosting plan is CAD $35 a month and includes a global CDN, SSL, daily backups, uptime monitoring and domain renewal. Hosting & Care is CAD $129 a month and adds updates, seasonal sections, a monthly check and same-day support.
Do I have to sign up for a monthly plan?
No. The plans are optional. You own the domain, code and content, and you can host the site anywhere you like.
How do I cancel?
Tell us by email or phone with 30 days notice. We hand over the code and help move the site to your own hosting or another provider. There is no cancellation fee.
What counts as an update on the Care plan?
Text, photo and price changes, and new seasonal sections, are included. A whole new page or a new feature is quoted separately so you see the price first.
Can you host a site you did not build?
Our plans are made for the hand-coded sites we build. For an existing WordPress, Wix or Squarespace site, we usually suggest a redesign or a free website check first, so you know what you are paying to keep.
