Private island · Indian Ocean

Off every map.

Twelve hectares of palm and white sand, forty minutes by seaplane from Malé. One island, six villas, never more than twenty guests.

01 — The island

The jetty

Arrive by water.

The only road on Noralu is 212 metres of teak laid over the lagoon. Your villa waits at the end of it.

02 — Arrival

The villa

Sleep above the sea.

Pale oak, linen and glass on stilts over the reef, with walls that fold away until the room is mostly horizon.

03 — Overwater

The deck

Swim to the horizon.

A twenty-metre pool on every deck, set level with the Indian Ocean so the two meet without a line.

04 — The pool

The house reef

Beneath it all.

The reef begins under your bedroom floor. Mantas pass through from May to November; the turtles stay all year.

05 — Below

The evening

Dinner, barefoot.

A table for two on the sand, set wherever the tide allows. The chef cooks what the morning boat brought in.

06 — Night

The villas

Six villas. No neighbours.

Every villa faces open water and none can see another. Stay in one, or take the island for yourself and the people you would share it with.

  • A pale oak and glass villa on slim stilts over a turquoise lagoon, its deck stepping down into the water.

2 bedrooms · 320 m² · End of the jetty

An open-air spa pavilion over mirror-calm water at dawn, two treatment beds under a light timber roof.

The spa pavilion

Nothing on the schedule.

Two therapists live on the island. There is no treatment menu — only a conversation at breakfast and a pavilion over the water that is yours until you fall asleep.

Looking straight down at an unmarked white seaplane moored beside the end of the teak jetty in turquoise water.
